What is it?
Futsal is a fast-paced, technique-driven sport played with five players per side on a hard court. Unlike traditional soccer, it uses a smaller, low-bounce ball designed to promote better control. Recognized by FIFA, futsal has its own international leagues, club competitions, and even a dedicated World Cup. Its rules are designed to keep the game moving quickly, with fast restarts that encourage quick decision-making and constant transitions. The limited space challenges players to focus on their technique, leading to exciting, high-energy play with lots of chances to score.

Rules
In futsal, some rules might change depending on the tournament, but a few basics stay the same. For example, players only get four seconds for any restart, which keeps the game moving fast. Teams also have a foul limit—once they hit five fouls, the other team gets a penalty. Goalkeepers can only get a pass back once per possession, so teams can't just sit back and defend. Instead of throw-ins, futsal uses kick-ins, and substitutions happen on the go, keeping the action constant. My son has been participating in Beestera’s futsal program since its inception. The coaching has always been fantastic, but we’ve seen a true transformation in the program itself- helping natural soccer players build their futsal-specific knowledge, tactics, and skill. The growth and elevation of this program has been evident, resulting in very competitive and successful tournament results that get more impressive each season. The program logistics are organized, coaches are communicative and supportive, and most important- the players have a ton of fun! Thanks to Beestera, my son was introduced to and taught a sport he now loves.

Beestera futsal is an amazing program that has helped both of my sons continue to develop their technical skills at an even faster pace. I have watched my own children and many of their teammates improve weekly in agility, coordination, and accuracy when it comes to quick passing and receiving . I can never say enough about the Beestera coaches. They continue to help these young athletes become more confident and dynamic players.

I love playing futsal because it's fast paced and I get a lot of touches on the ball in tight spaces. I also enjoy playing the pivot position because I am a physical player and I like to find my teammates with a quick pass or take a shot on goal. Futsal is so fun to play, I love the tournaments, and I think everyone should do it if they want to get better. The coaches are awesome too!

FUTSAL
FAST-PACED, INDOOR GAME
A fast, exciting, free flowing game that has been proven to develop more creative players. With limited space, boundary restrictions, and constant pressure, improved ball control and decision-making is prioritized.

THE SEASON
Our futsal season runs from October to February, with teams training once a week for 90 minutes. Each session covers technical skills, game-like drills, and scrimmages. Our program helps players build essential skills, make quick decisions, and grow confident in high-pressure situations, all in a supportive, competitive setting.

SELECTION PROCESS
Players are invited to the program by Beestera staff, referred by current players or coaches, or may submit their interest to be evaluated at a session. Based on evaluations, players are placed on either a competitive or developmental roster.

OPEN FUTSAL
We also offer open futsal sessions for players who are new to the sport or not yet ready to commit to the full program. These sessions provide a great introduction to futsal in a more relaxed setting.
