Beestera Congratulates Coach Brito and Coach Brooks-Newton on Siena’s Historic MAAC Championship

Siena Men’s Soccer made history, winning its first MAAC title and earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever.

The Siena Men’s Soccer program made history this weekend, winning its first ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship and earning a spot in the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Tournament for the first time in the program’s 50-year history. The Saints will take on Seton Hall in the first round this Thursday.

This moment reflects the work Head Coach Graciano Brito, Goalkeeper Coach Ryan Brooks-Newton, and the entire staff put into the program every single day.

A Proud Day for the Beestera Family

This accomplishment means a lot to us. All three Beestera owners, James Beeston, Michael Matera, and Matthew Needham, are Siena Men’s Soccer alumni. Seeing the program reach this milestone under the leadership of two coaches connected to Beestera makes this moment even more special.

Coach Brito works closely with Beestera players through private training sessions. To have a Division 1 head coach working with players on an individual basis is fantastic and something we do not take for granted.

Coach Brooks-Newton, Beestera’s Goalkeeping Director, continues to guide goalkeepers at both Siena and within our training environment, helping players thrive in our hive.

Looking Ahead

With a MAAC title and plenty of momentum, Siena now prepares for the NCAA Tournament. No matter what happens next, this season already stands as one of the most meaningful in the program’s history.

From everyone at Beestera, congratulations to Coach Brito, Coach Brooks-Newton, and the entire Siena Men’s Soccer team. Good luck on Thursday!
