Beestera Shines at Cornucopia Cup Futsal Feast

Beestera Futsal made its mark at the Cornucopia Cup, where nine teams competed and secured three championship wins and three runner up finishes in a full day of competition.
[Syracuse, NY] - Beestera Futsal recently traveled with nine teams across multiple age groups to compete in a full day of futsal at the Cornucopia Cup Futsal Feast, hosted by Northstars Soccer Club and played at the indoor OCC SRC Arena in Syracuse.
Beestera’s teams delivered a great showing, bringing home three championship titles and three second place finishes. The achievement was made even more impressive by the number of young players experiencing tournament level futsal for the first time.
For those new to this environment, the teamwork and work ethic on display was a point of pride in the Hive. From the youngest age groups through the oldest, performances reflected the effort and focus that players have been putting into training sessions.
“We are incredibly proud of all the players,” said Mike Matera. “The growth in confidence, decision making, and comfort on the ball within just a few games is exactly why futsal is an important part of our development model.”
As a club neutral program, it was also great to see players from a variety of local clubs come together, form new friendships, see families connect, and represent the Hive with pride.
A special shoutout goes to Coaches Mike, Dylan, and Toni, who committed to a full 12 hour day at the event. As primary coaches for multiple teams, each managed between 12 and 19 games, guided rotations, adapted tactics, and supported the youngest competitors through their first tournament experience.
