Latham, NY – At Beestera, competition isn’t just a value—it’s a way of life. This ethos was on full display during a recent staff outing, where the staff traded their cleats for paddles at the True Pickle Ball Club in Latham. The event featured a singles pickleball tournament, offering staff a fun and competitive break from the soccer field and office.

For many, it was their first time stepping onto a pickleball court, but that didn’t stop everyone from embracing the challenge with their signature enthusiasm. The tournament was a mix of intense rallies, laughter, and newfound respect for the sport. In the end, and to no one’s surprise Mike Matera, emerged as the champion, showcasing his knack for competition across any sport.
