Biggest Turnout Yet at Beestera Cornhole Fundraiser

We hit full capacity with a record 32 teams at Fort Orange Brewing, making it our largest event yet. Together, our Hive raised $3,800 to support the Beestera Foundation.

On May 2, 2026, the Beestera Foundation brought the community together at Fort Orange Brewing for a day that was all about showing up, having fun, and supporting something bigger than ourselves. With our largest turnout so far, we raised $3,800 to help continue our work with players and families.

What stood out most was the people. Our Hive showed up in a big way. From players and families to friends, local businesses, and supporters, so many people went out of their way to be there, bring others along, donate, and help make the day special. That kind of support means everything to us.

We hit full capacity this year with a record 32 teams, making it our biggest turnout yet. Seeing that many teams compete and stay engaged all day says a lot about our Hive and helps us keep creating more opportunities through the Foundation.

The event had a great mix of competition and just hanging out. Teams battled it out in cornhole, while others came to enjoy the atmosphere, connect, and be part of it. It felt like a true community event from start to finish.

A big shoutout to our interns Sam Spraker and Harvey Smith, who helped run the event. They took on a lot of responsibility and did a great job making sure everything came together.

We also want to thank every business and individual who donated, supported, or simply showed up. We know people are busy, which makes it even more meaningful when they choose to spend their time with us and support what we’re building.

Funds raised from the event will directly support the Foundation’s initiatives, including our Game On program, which provides scholarships to help players attend camps and training opportunities they might not otherwise have access to.

This event keeps growing every year, and that’s because of the people behind it. Our Hive continues to show what community really looks like, and we’re excited to keep building on this together.
