Southern States Tour: Week 2 in the Books for Beestera Summer Camps

Beestera Summer Camps expand to Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida, delivering high-level soccer training and character development to players in Nashville, Atlanta, and St. Augustine.

Week 2 of Beestera Summer Camps in the Southern States is in the books, and what a week it has been!

Beestera delivered camps this week in three states: Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida, bringing our brand of soccer training to hundreds of new players across the Southeast.

This marked Beestera’s first time running camps in Nashville, Atlanta, and St. Augustine. The response has been incredible, and we have loved introducing the Beestera philosophy to new players, parents, and soccer communities.

"It has been amazing to promote Beestera in new states this summer," said Kurtis Smith, Camp Director in Nashville. "A lot of people didn’t know about us before, but have said they are so pleased they signed their child up for camp and will be back again next year. You can feel that they connect with our focus on developing better players and better people."

Our teams on the ground brought Beestera’s curriculum and culture to life:

  • It was the second consecutive week in Nashville, with Kurtis leading alongside visiting UK coaches Alfie Barnett and Wiktor Janiszewski, giving players an international experience and fresh perspectives on the game.

  • In Atlanta, Pat Boucher and international coach Kayla Campbell delivered a full 9 am to 3 pm camp from Monday through Friday."Atlanta was fantastic," said Pat, Camp Director. "The kids brought so much enthusiasm, and parents were excited to see a camp that values not just skill, but character and mindset too."

  • In St. Augustine, Andrew Trolio partnered with Emily Tilman from Body Mind Performance to provide a full-player experience blending soccer with mental performance training. Now in its second year, this partnership continues to grow."The feedback from St. Augustine was incredible," said Drew, Camp Director. "Players loved the mix of technical training and learning how to take care of their bodies and minds. We can’t wait to come back next year."

  • Last week, Mike Matera joined Vic Agah, and Russell Miller in Orlando to help with a camp. “It's so enjoyable teaching the Beestera Way to other coaches and giving players from different places the best experience possible," said Matera

A highlight across all camps so far this summer has been the introduction of our THRIVE Value Cards. Each day, players reflected on values like Team First, Hard Work, Resilience, Interdependence, Victory, and Enjoyment.

"The THRIVE cards sparked great conversations. Players really took ownership of how they can apply these values both on and off the field," said Kurtis. "It was powerful to see the impact even in a short week."

Special thanks to Nike Soccer Camps for continuing to help us reach new markets and connect with new soccer families.

Beestera is running camps in 10 States this summer, and our local New York camps kick off on June 30. We can't wait to bring that same energy and impact to our home base.
